Heupel has coached the most prolific stretch of offense in UT's history.
I'm having a hard time reconciling all that.
"Fix them" doesn't mean that he can turn anybody into Peyton or Tom. It means he turns them into the best version of themselves. And yes, he does do that.
He's also built a system that overperforms. Smart.
Why is this even a question or concern? If he takes someone, he thinks he can make them...
I get the sense that kidnapping is the preferred recruiting method for many here. Only way the coaches can win every battle when dealing with free will.
Edit: Sorry...very late with this as other psychopaths already recommended it.
We added Joey in May. Showing up to class in January clearly isn't a requirement to play in the fall. The new portal rules may change some things, but I'm certain we'll be able to add players for a bit longer. Give it another couple of weeks before you brand the effort 'pathetic'.
