NashVegas, as in, "I'm headed to NashVegas to watch the Music City Bowl". And "He'll defintely be playing on Sundays next year."

Judging from the performance on the field this year, maybe its quick playing time for him as a freshman QB.

My non-UT friends across the country will not be text-messaging me for the next two weeks, since there won't be any games picked up by ESPN or CBS. I cringe when my phone goes off during a UT game. In years past, it was a congratulatory call......this year, I don't even answer it.

I'll add one from the "old strip" category: Yosimite Sams. It was the last place in town that you could shoot pool and get into a fight where you could break wooden straightback chairs over your opponent's head! Circa 1980. Across the street and a couple doors down from the Lap.

I'm an SEC guy......except when it comes to UF and bama(sux). I don't buy into the fact that it makes the conference look stronger if everyone wins. If UF and bama(sux) win, that just may cause a high school recruit to "consider" playing for them and not come to UT. (Long shot, I know) I'll...

Oh, yeah....I remember the lean years in BBall. It was always sweet to see the UT student section get all over Joe B. Hall at Stokely! And after the domination we've had over them in football, it is a little tough to get emotionally excited about that game (except for this year!)
