I seem to remember Spurrier always taking the ball if they won the toss…didn’t know this. I guess they just won a lot of coin tosses

So I guess we won’t be reading posts from folks worried about other schools coming after our coach

In 98 I recall we could’ve and perhaps should have lost the first game of the season and we had a couple more close calls as well, then we where miraculously handed a gift to play for the natty. All that to say every championship team has some breaks go their way and really good teams continue...

I can take losing...don’t like it but I can take it. I absolutely despise being non competitive

Again, it ended up as a non factor, but to have that presence of mind...just proved to me how intelligent GW is. Look for a solid career (not necessarily great) at the next level...then maybe as a great teacher of the game...

I some what agree...but I think you can have both. They will be representing the university and should do that in a positive manner.

Well...I don’t know. I do know I’m a 58 year old man and he had me fired up to play football

If that was his thought process...I would have to question his intelligence
