    RIP Wes Rucker

This is a gut punch. There will only be one Wes Rucker, I’m numb, this can’t be real. Very few writers leave an impression on everyone around them like Wes has. Not only loved by TN fans, but fans across the SEC. PLEASE share the go fund me once someone has it set up. Taking care of his kids...

    Ty Simpson?

NFL advisory committee have him top 15 pick. Weak class overall. I don’t see it, but not much after first couple QBs. 6.5 million is crazy.

    Rather have Gruden or Heupel?

It’s funny how narratives change. I’m sure there would be some Vol fans who would rather have Gruden but I’d think the poll would be hugely in favor of Heupel. 80/20 Heupel? Before Pruitt it would be almost 100% Gruden, probably 75-80 Gruden when Heupel was hired. Am I wrong thinking TN got a...

SEC adding new “Delay of Game - Defense” penalty

He has it wrong and he sat there when they explained it. You can still stem. All 4 if you like. What you cannot do is 2 DL stem, and the 3rd DL “flinch”. If they do, that’s a penalty. Think of it as a DL doing a false start. Really has nothing to do with stemming.

'26 GA LB Brayden Rouse (Tennessee)

Marietta (Ga.) Kell Top247 LB Brayden Rouse Schools in the mix: Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas Predicted landing spot: Tennessee The skinny: The Vols were the first school to really buy into Rouse as a top target and it doesn't seem as if a program has been able to knock Tennessee off...

'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

It is 1 million from the Michigan side. UT has a good shot to sign him and has done a very good job recruiting him. Would be perfect for TN’s offense and would easily surpass 1K. There is a drop off after Hiter, he’s clearly the #1 back.

Spreads out for couple UT games

-12.5 vs Syracuse +12.5 vs Alabama The Alabama spread feels tempting, seems a bit high but also don’t know what the team will look like with a new QB. That holds water for both teams. Will Alabama’s QBs pan out? At least TN QB has experience playing college ball. Same for Syracuse, losing a...

    House Settlement

In the SCOTUS ruling against NCAA, the court did give NCAA power over pay for play. NCAA or SEC cannot restrict money earned from name but they can restrict money if a person just pays to play at a certain school. The new commission can deem a deal NIL or P4P. Schools have agreed to play by the...

    House Settlement

No one is limiting their NIL. Nowhere does it say the player will not receive their deal if the deal is deemed not approved. They will receive it but they could be either ruled ineligible to play or (most likely) the school faces sanctions. Thats why schools agreed to only offer deals that are...

    House Settlement

Schools were already starting to sign kids to multi year deals and if the contract was broke by the student, there is a buyout the student has to pay (likely the new school they will attend). That is the business part of this as if the contract is terminated by the school, they also would be...

    Truth about Nico

He would have had a lifetime of connections with coast to coast alumni. THE biggest perk he would have had in Life, he let his dad throw away. Doesn’t matter if he is successful for a couple years in football, still has 40 years of work after that. Do you agree with Rusty?
