My interest in the NFL waned long ago and cratered completely when they went woke. Now college football is being destroyed by NIL and the transfer portal. I understand the use of both by the players, but it changes it to the point where I am no longer interested. Really sad state of affairs.

As a 71 y.o. who can't remember names (and a lot of other stuff) at all, I empathize with Tony. Being in the public eye is difficult enough, but adding in problems that aging brings with it are doubly depressing. GETTING old and BEING old sucks! No doubt about it.

New season of Virgin River is out. Less anxiety inducing. On Netflix. New Taylor Sheridan series “Landman” with Billy Bob Thornton on Paramount Plus is excellent.

Hope to God you get your wish. I know what it’s like to have in-laws that you have a difference of opinion with and have to walk on eggshells when around them. Always great to be able to have the satisfaction of putting a butt whooping on them.
