Could be a really good move for Gilbert! SF CF'er is a hot mess. His defense has cost SF some games this year. I bet this had something to do with the trade. At least I hope for Drew.
I'm thrilled by this! He is going to come back with his hair on fire! He may of had a weak 2nd half, but still hit double digit HR's and 50+ RBI's....
Numbers like that don't just fall off the a tree. Get er done big boy!!!
So, I had the same injury to my non-throwing thumb in pro ball that Christian has. Good news, it is not that big of a deal long-term at all. Usually, no surgery required. Just time to heal. The other good news is that the trainer can tape it up for each game which will allow you to play...
Brian, I just had the Lord Jesus Christ heal me of cancer (5 weeks ago, after 9 months of treatment)! He is still in the healing business if its his will and to his glory. Praying for ya brother.
Just my opinion as an old ex-pro:
Bargo should go get a FA contract or Independent league deal. He is just a tough one to predict. That said, go show out young man and someone will pick ya up later. I really believe Chapman should return to UT and go for the solid year. He is very close...
No idea. But based on other schools numbers that I do know of......I'd say $750K - $1M. And I don't know that we go that high here at UT.
I know the family of A&M's Ryan Prager, and he got $750k to come back this year.
Schoolcraft at 25 is interesting....slot value is $3.6M...
...And he just saw a TN pitcher go to school, go higher, and get a $8.1M slot value..
....So I'm saying there is a chance........
I'm going to answer my own question.....lol.......It's on Knoxnews.com. Tony says there is one particular program in the SEC that likes to make "undercover offers" to our players.
