Annoying maybe, but ethe poster has a heck of a point. Every school sells out for Kentucky. Every school has a "white out", "orange out" etc when Kentucky comes to town.
My takes on the UK -aTm game.
(1) Very tough hostile environment. Loud sellout crowd. Most all UK’s road games are.
(2) aTm played harder and with more energy than UK.
(3) UK got a tough whistle.
(4) Both teams had a horrible shooting night, especially UK.
(5) UK may have been a little full...
Amazing stat. However, if I remember correctly UK only out rebounded UK by one rebound. The difference in the game wasn’t rebounding it was points off turnovers and fast break points. UK outscored UT 32-11 on points after turnovers. At one time, very late in the game, UK had outscored UT 27-0 on...
Kentucky outscored Tennessee 32-11 off of turnovers. That was the game right there. When a team gets 32 points off turnovers their shooting percentage is going to be very high.
Do you actually think the Kentucky kids played and shot better because a former coach they barely knew passed away? Or, do you think Coach Hall was guiding their shots into the basket from the heavens?
