I was little disappointed in the lack of fire and leadership from Nico last year anyway. He’s undoubtedly got a talented arm, but he never seemed to rally the team and the QB just needs to be that guy. I say goodbye to him without a lot of sadness… I think we’ll definitely be competitive w/o Nico.

Yep, 100%. I really like Nico, but Beck was on point last night. I know a lot of that has to do with how much time he was allowed to stand in the pocket, but it is what it is. And the receivers caught the balls when they needed to.

While I do agree that there did seem to be more calls that went the Bulldogs way, I think overall they proved to be the superior team. Carson Beck was on point. The receivers caught when they needed to and Kirby coached the smart game.
