    We are 3rd?

Fangraphs just added college data. So the answer to when college baseball can get this stuff funnily enough is yesterday https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/college https://blogs.fangraphs.com/weve-got-college-data/

    We are 3rd?

NP. Frankly speaking, I didn't really care enough to figure out why they are multiplying home runs by 1.4 to calculate LOB%. A lot easier to duplicate someone else's work than to spend the time to figure out why they are doing something. It's really more of a pitcher stat so I imagine the 1.4 is...

    We are 3rd?

I tried to find it the other day and had a hell of a time finding college stats. So I just calculated it myself. Took 3 minutes with excel. Here's the formula LOB% = (H+BB+HBP-R)/(H+BB+HBP-(1.4*HR)) Here's where I pulled the stats 2025 Southeastern Conference | Baseball-Reference.com Here's...

    We are 3rd?

We have high LOB because we have a lot of base runners. Tennessee has the best LOB% in the SEC.

Christian Moore could crack the Angels' Opening Day roster

Having Ron Washington as your coach when your biggest flaw is infield defense and drafted to an organization known for aggressively promoting college bats. You're right, really wasn't a better spot for him to be drafted to just from a personal development point.

Liam Doyle's fastball is "the best pitch in college baseball in 2025"

He definitely has improved since coming to UT, but his peripherals were there. That's what is most important when judging a baseball player's future potential on. The college season is so short that ERA can be deceiving.

Tennessee adds former Oklahoma OC Seth Littrell to offensive staff

That doesn't really mean anything to Vol fans since Littrell was fired half way through the season.

Game thread: #15 Lady Vols host #18 Alabama, Thurs., Feb 20, 6:30 ET, SECN+

No idea why they are doing with them as #11 in the polls, but Net Rankings are just a different type of efficiency metric they use to determine the quadrant system. There is a strong correlation, but tournament seeding is ultimately based off the resume. UConn was #2 in NET last year and was a...

    Tennessee Lady Vol News

Appreciate the info. You know, I even tried to check and make sure before posting and couldn't find anything on the NCAA.com site. Didn't think to check .org site.

    BTO’s Illinois Postgame Report

Kentucky isn't that impressive of a home environment. They have better crowds at the SEC tournament then they do at Rupp. People that complain about the bluehairs at TBA would have a stroke following Kentucky.

Tennessee Playoff Guide Week 13: An (Almost) Perfect Weekend

Why wouldn't you want an A&M win? Texas has played no one and Tennessee would pass a 10-2 Texas. That would also get a home playoff game.

'25 TN WR Radarious Jackson (Tennessee)

Individual player ratings don't matter. A 3star can be an NFL talent, and a 5 star can never play a down. It's the team overall rankings that matter. That being said, recruiting services should still make best effort to rate players appropriately.
