Tennessee vs The Maxims vs OMG Update

Pleased to make your acquaintance, OMG! I've already finished the book, and enjoyed it immensely! I apologize for not making your panel to heckle you, but I had to leave to help my Dad. He's 81 but doesn't realize it sometimes...

As a paramedic of 30 years, I support this message.

    Magallanes (UT -Purdue MCB ref)

I was taught during my initial training as a TSSAA football official that making these calls in real time is the equivalent of trying to read the license plate of the car that just went by you in the opposite direction at 40 mph. Experience helps slow the game down but it still moves at a pretty...

    Magallanes (UT -Purdue MCB ref)

Is he the referee? Was he the referee for both of those games? The reason I ask is that if he was the referee, neither of those calls were made by him. I called TSSAA high school football games when I could move up and down the field better. I was a Head Linesman. The Referee is stationed...

    Snowing in Knoxville now

Cool. Which one? I know the team played in the Industrial Bowl a few times. I played in the Chestnut Bowl in White House.

A View from Big Ben: Vanderbilt

From a Hillbilly to our London brother - "Ya did an ace job, mate!" Did I do that right?

    Overachieved

I can honestly say I saw Vandy win a bowl game once. One of my side jobs (every paramedic and firefighter has a side job or two) was working EMS at LP Field (now Nissan Stadium). I was there the day Vandy beat Boston College in the Music City Bowl. I doubt this ever happens again in my lifetime.

The Official #8 Tennessee @ Vanderbilt Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ABC

I'm usually a peaceable guy, but I sincerely hope somebody knocks that punk-ass bitch DB from Vanderbilt into the middle of last month at some point. Talking trash and jawing is one thing, but damn.
