Young Marshall has been fed a steady diet of Rocky Top his entire life. I would not sell UT short when it’s his time, How do you see that T form and the Vols running through it, knowing your father did as well and that sort of stuff runs deep.
3 n outs will be a back breaker for this team. I agree we’ll be better on D but we were a hot mess last season so there’s only one way to go when you’re almost at rock bottom. Our offense has to find a way to run the ball an stay away from too many 3rd and longs. This coaching staff will...
Kiffin was left so much talent he had to start two walk on twins on the OL. He over performed on The Hill by a lot!!! That doesn’t mean or discount how he did us dirty, but the guy did a great job that one season based on what he had to work with imo.
I believe a lot of people are selling Faizon a little short. By all reports he’s a very heady kid, smart, does not get overly emotional and is very mature. Just from people who know and has followed him I’d say he’s closer to a Casey Clausen in temperament than what we’ve seen on campus at the...
Has the coach ever clearly demonstrated they have taken over the game developed strategies and plays that literally won the game from the bench with less than a minute to play?
I respectively disagree. When we take the people out of the game, machine calling balls and strikes, then it changes the game fundamentally from the game played and statistics become meaningless. It’s one of the reasons MLB still uses wooden bats. How do compare players from the past to the...
One of the things I’ve seen for two seasons now is there are pivotal times in some of our games where can’t get a bucket as if there’s a lid on the basket. I have yet to see CKC coming out of a timeout after one of these long stretches where we don’t score setup or call an actual certified...
It’s amazing to me how many people can crawl into Fulmer’s skin and tell you his innermost thoughts and biases. A whole lot of conclusions are being drawn about the guy without first hand evidence. That s says more about the folks making these sort of claims for good or bad than it does about...
Across many years of collegiate sports, how many times have we watched passionate full throated support by ADs for a an embattled coach to see the coach gone shortly thereafter? May be because I’m in the late stages of my life that I’ve seen it so often it’s almost the rule rather than the...
OR you put a coaching staff together that realizes long term QBs are rare at UT these days and produces a winning offense that can be put on the field without extensive experience at that position.
After a really good coach took Indiana from the bottom of college football using NIL and the portal to a national championship in two years, no more excuses for anybody showing up with subpar play on the field and glaring holes while paying millions out to a staff. Either get it done or get it gone,
I agree. Amyone who has coached at UT and has a national championship deserves it. Granted he won his at Pitt and then came to UT which meant he was trying to put one on the board on The Hill. How often is a NC coach lured away from where he is to take a similar level job? Not many. He loved UT.
