Tressel will never be hired as a Head Coach for a major college program. No university wants any parts of that let alone the stigma he will bring with him.
Stanford cant draw flies. This is their stadium during the PAC 12 championship game. Maybe he would be open to coaching at a place where they actually care about football.

But in the SEC there are 5 Head coaches who have NFL coaching experience, 2 of whom were head coaches in the NFL.
I just dont see him out-recruiting the big boys of the SEC just because he has "NFL" on his resume.

Its more important to get a guy that understands the college game and what it takes to succeed there. Rather than throw money at a guy just becuase he has "NFL" on his resume and looks good on TV.
Sumlin's work as an OC for A&M and Oklahoma are what got him his first HC job at Houston. Make no mistake thats Sumlin's offense. KK has only been running it for 3 years. Before that he was a Quality Control assistant (glorified towel boy).
