Neither this game or the Bama game (probably Missouri as well) are close if we have a healthy JP and Nate. Let's hope Nate can be healthy at least by the NCAA tournament. SEC tournament doesn't really matter that much frankly.
If everyone is healthy, and Amari gives us half of what he gave us...
We're not winning the regular season SEC championship. I don't see a way Florida drops 2 more. There's a chance, but they're just playing so we'll right now.
We just need to be in the top 4 for the double bye, which we have a great chance at doing. We could feasibly be the 2 seed since Florida...
This is some F tier officiating so far. Unbelievable how bad they are. Evans got called for a push on the offensive rebound, despite having his arm held that entire time.
I'd say sweet 16 is the goal. E8 would be over achieving. I think we can realistically beat anyone if Jakobi and Nate are playing well, and JP is healthy. Beating Houston and being toe to toe with Duke in the exhibition convinced me of that. We also have the possibility of getting bounced in the...
Without Hubbard, this is one of the least talented teams in the recent SEC memory, or poorly coached. They have no concept of defense, pretty much every shot they've made has been an answered prayer. They've got nothing going for them.
Brown's refusal to look at the rim on his offensive rebounds were killer. He cost us several points by doing that. JP missing lord knows how many bunnies also killed us. You have to make layups. It's really that simple.
Also, we fouled Diabate, yet that's the only time they didn't want to call a foul on us. Wasted 2-3 more seconds and put a way better free throw shooter on the line
Still too streaky. They just lost to auburn 2 games ago at home. Beating USCe at home by a million isn't that impressive, though a beat down of Bama obviously turns some heads.
Gutsy win. Georgia isn't good, but man they hit a ton of lucky shots in the first half. We didn't guard the ball well in the second half which lead to a bunch of layup attempts. That has to be better.
Loved JP having a breakout game. 2nd chance points are why we won though. Still too many...
Miami made it to the title game as the 10th seed. They absolutely deserved to be there as well. 16 is the right number imo. Sure, those 1v16 and 2v15 games probably aren't going to be great, but that's exactly why you put yourself in the position to be in the top 4.
I can't fathom having Florida in three top 25. A 4 win team that absolutely lost more than they gained in the portal doesn't sound like a recipe for success. I just wish we got to play them this year.
