Fans on the Auburn board are bellyaching less. Living life worried about everything you don't have, rather than appreciating how good you truly have it, is not the way to go through life.
This is not how recruiting works anymore. How good a recruiter a coach is is much less relevant as it typically comes down to $ now and you have even more figures playing big roles in recruiting these days especially at programs like Tennessee which has a massive recruiting apparatus they invest...
It seems to me that this is not going to come down to money so it's going to depend on other factors. That may be me stating the obvious but I think it will come down to comfortability and how he expects to be developed. I honestly don't know who that favors.
You are speaking purely from your own perspective. Don't assume that's everyone's perspective. Pope has had material success as a coach and recruiter to this point. There's zero reason he would be on any proverbial hot seat.
Every QB Josh Heupel has ever brought under his tutelage has improved. I honestly think Aguilar's propensity to take risks will serve him well. You almost prefer that to someone afraid to make tough throws. Heupel will get the turnovers down and use his gunslinger mentality as an asset.
This is inane. If Heupel had landed ANY of the classes he landed here at UCF they would have been over the Moon. It would be the best class in their history. Makes no sense to even compare the two situations. It's even nuttier given how well we've been recruiting.
No one is tampering because no one has to. It's perfectly within the rules to use agents as go-betweens between schools and clients at any time. If they want to do anything at all about that very thing happening then they need to do something about that.
You're just demonstrating I know more about these situations than you do. And that's just because I follow the right people. I'm not trying to be mean, but you're trying to correct a post that didn't need correcting.
There are wide receivers that came cheaper than Tate would that we passed on. It makes zero sense y'all are even entertaining this. If we get another WR (and I think we will) I doubt it's going to be anyone who would replace one of our projected starters. Because that's how we kept our projected...
That you think that statement means I'm arrogant says more about you than me. I simply made a factual statement. I can back it up or I wouldn't have said it.
