1. Raynoch Thompson soaring from the end position on 4th and inches against Auburn in 1998. It was almost like a bullet.
2. Al Wilson at thed Goal Line vs. UF in 1998. If they score there early on, we probably dont win.
3. Willie Miles knocking the ball out of Gaffney's hands in 2000 (...
No. It was Eddie Moore demolishing Kelvin Kight. Then in 2002, Eddie had another huge hit against the same guy. Kelvin was quoted in the paper yesterday saying that he has issued a restraining order against Eddie because he has been following him in his dreams the past 4 years.
1. Cal wont surprise anyone. We already know they are good and we will likely be the underdog in this game. We are out to surprise people and do a complete 360 from 2005.
2. Correct. Arkansauce will get drilled
3. If your offense from last year scored 3 on us, and you return 1 good RB and one...
I look for Jarod Mayo to bust out. I think the LB's are solid but unproven. I think the play of Andre Mathis and Myers White will be crucial to that unit. But I think McCoy is going to be hell for opposing offenses.
Ive been thinking that too. Especially at LB. We really need some young guys to step up and play hard and play smart. Front 4, not to worried about. I like the back-ups that will be filling in. Turk at DT, he's played alot over the past 3 years, Xavier Mitchell and Antonio Reynolds should...
He's a twig at 6'2 167 lbs. Plus he only runs a 4.7. I've also heard alot of good things about Nic Stephens. He comes this summer, I hope Cut can develop him.
Agree. We dont blow people off of the ball like we used to. That and special teams in the return game. We have been very poor since Eric PArker and Dante Stallworth left. The last consistent return guy we had was Terry Fair. Those thinkgs hurt us. Weve always had a good PK and punter. Those 2...
I wouldnt expect it to be fixed just because some changes were made. But i would expect a better season. 9-3 wouldnt be bad at all considering. I would be thrilled with 9-3. I think that would be over-achieving given the fact that we had Trooper move positions, but he was a WR coach at Tulane...
Its gonna set the tempo for the season. No doubt this game is huge. I just hope our guys know that if we do lose, not all is lost. Its OOC, and we still have the SEC to play for.

Dont under estimate the Trojans. Pete Carroll did a nice job of replacing Heisman winner Carson Palmer with Heisman winner Matt Leinart. Just because they lose one doesnt mean that dont have another one waiting. I dont expect much of a drop off. The talent level there is amazing.
