Nope. Equating someone can have a really bad game yet get better after the fact. Everyone is ready to write the guy off after his first game. Maybe folks should give it more than one game to decide.
I remember another QB who completed 9 of 26 passes his first game as a Vol qb. Not saying nor implying Milton is the next Tee Martin. I’m simply offering perspective that guys can vastly improve after the first game. If message boards existed in 98 like today, I wonder what would have been said...
Lots of truth here. I had open heart when I was 20 and man it made me angry, irritated all the time and generally not a nice person. I can only imagine if I had been 60 plus years of age.

I must confess I turned it off intentionally. Last year I turned of the SC game because I had to be some place for an important meeting and the vols came back and won. This year I figured if I turned it off history may repeat itself and it did. So maybe I just need to stop watching the games...
I for one do not believe race played a role in Tennessee fans wanting Martin gone. Look at Jerry Green. He had a record of 89-36, made the ncaa tourney 4 times and actually finished first in the conference twice. Fans grew disgruntled with Green because his teams faded down the stretch and did...
