UConn women are 12-1 in final games and the men are 6-O in final games. That is a combined record of 18-1.
As someone noted, the only loss was against South Carolina, in one of those seasons with a decimated roster. Starters missing were starting center Juhasz who was injured in the previous...
They beat Duke in a game where their entire team was ejected for leaving the bench during a fight. I believe they ended the game with five players, and only one was a starter. They still beat Duke.
I believe you are referring to Olivia Vukosa. She is UConn‘s top recruit for next year, ranked third overall I believe. She is of Croatian descent and had some experience playing for their national under teams. She played at the same high school as Sue Bird and Tina Charles.
There’s clearly not enough information, but between the two teams (TCU and WV) they played one SEC team, but did win by 20, beating Texas AM who finished seven and nine in the SEC which was one less win than Tenn, Ky, Georgia and Ole Miss.
For the past month, I’ve been wanting UConn to maintain the number one overall seed so that UCLA and South Carolina would have to play in the semi’s (my thinking was those three were well above everybody else) and then UConn would only have to play either South Carolina or UCLA, not both. After...
They finished tied for sixth place in a league that’s going to get 11 teams in the tournament. If they do not make the tournament, Texas A&M and Georgia do not deserve to go as they both finished behind or tied with Tennessee and also lost in the first round of the tournament. Kentucky and...
Sidenote: because I do not follow women’s softball, I just found out that Tennessee’s pitcher is from North Buncombe High School in North Carolina. My former students were in the class that knocked her high school out of the state championship playoffs her junior year. One of my students had a...
UConn should have went to the Big Ten years ago, and would’ve loved to have. The Big Ten had an athletic payout of around $80 million last year, while the big East was somewhere around 7 million.
The Big Ten chose Rutgers because they wanted the New York city market. For some reason they didn’t...

There is no doubt that the Big East is a horrible conference right now. However, to say that they could not go undefeated in the SEC this year is to say that they are not one game better than South Carolina who has won every SEC game this season except for one. Keep in mind UConn beat SC twice...
I love Galvin’s game, and there might not be anyone as important to their own team as she is to vanderbilt. However, there’s some pretty good freshmen out there, Jazzy Davidson and Aaliyah Chavez to name a couple.
Nobody is mentioning how close Kentucky came to taking out South Carolina. A loose ball call with seconds left might’ve have been the difference in the game.
