Red Card FC strikes again. Game firmly in control, smothering Burnley to where they haven’t even made it out of their half of the pitch the first 20 minutes of the second half and then we go and get a red. Game changes, burnley equalize in stoppage time. Shameful the level of immaturity on this...

I’d be mad about losing any FA Cup match against a non PL division side but this one would sting just a little less for me. What a cool moment for Wrexham to host this too. Racecourse is going to be HOPPING that day/night no matter the outcome.

Also the first PL player in history to have 3 first-half hat tricks.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. I think the chatter about him being homesick is probably true to a degree but this initial chatter all started from a report from The Sun Football.

PL have 5 teams in the top 8 of the UCL. Some of the potential matchups for them in the round of 16 though 👀

I was in NYC earlier this fall for a wedding and went to watch Chelsea vs Brighton at the football factory. That was a good time. Wish we had better football watch parties here in Nashville.

I had forgotten about Kulu and Solanke both being out, that definitely hurts. I agree with the point about the veteran players probably not buying in to Frank. Potter had the same problem at Chelsea where there were reports that veteran players in the squad didn’t trust him and he lacked the...

Judging by the anti-Frank chants I saw today, it won’t be that much longer if this form continues. Once the fan base is chanting for a sack the way they were today, it can go sour very quickly. He’s on the clock. It’s so weird. There’s quality in the side there and Frank knows the league well...

I heard the very first thing Derek Owings did when he arrived this morning was pull up to McIntyres dorm room with peanut butter sandwiches and deer antler spray. TIFWIW.

Yeah once you lose the locker room you are toast. Management in European football is much bigger pressure cooker than American sports in my opinion. With promotion, relegation, and trying to earn spots in European competitions it’s much more a win quick or you’re gone setup.

What a mess that whole situation is. Trying to manage players and hold them accountable is hard when ownership clips your legs out from under you at every turn. Tough scenes. I wonder if Maresca ends up at Madrid now.

Haven’t been able to keep up with portal recruiting so far. Today has been great though. Is that 4 Penn state defenders committed overall now? The more players that have played in Knowles system the better.

I still can’t figure out what the heck Martinelli was thinking there at the end. You see a guy go down from pretty much a non contact injury and looks to be in real pain and you decide to toss a ball at him? Then, even after standing there and seeing him in pain you decide to try and shove him...

From a footballing perspective, I have no idea just how good or not good he is. It just doesn’t move the needle for me much either. I will just say that so many managers get chewed up and spit out by the press in Football, especially in England, but he seems like an intelligent guy who knows...
