I know. I literally just corrected what I said to “active career leader”, not just a single season.
But as I also said, none of that nor how many INTs he has thrown in the past have anything to do with a single game he will play this season.
You’re just being argumentative and negative for...
Sorry he’s not just the leader for 2024 season, Joey heads into the 2025 campaign as the FBS active career leader in total offense per game (288.5, minimum 2,500 yards) and is second in passing yards per game (270.4, minimum 5,000 yards).
With Oklahoma also being in the SEC, I think there is a much less chance of the likely 0% chance of him leaving here to coach for Oklahoma.
1. HIS AD is here. You don’t leave comfort and security in who directly decides your fate for a place that still heavily involves the guy that fired you...
Living up to your name I see. lol.
Kansas St lost one of those best players, they just made a completely ignorant decision to go for it inside their own 30.
I’m not saying he’s complete garbage, but he does some things I’ve seen some of our worst QBs do.
I’m glad he stayed at Iowa St.
He doesn’t take care of the football and stares down receivers. Their defense and running game will make his w/l look better than it should.
Years ago there was a rotation we could look ahead and know, but now I’m not sure and we should be wrapping up Home/Home series with Miss St, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
Update: I just checked and there is no schedule past this season with Sankey still pushing for 9 games but ADs being against it...
Yea. Coach there has never really given him a shot. Just wish he would have done enough for someone else to see something. Maybe CJH can call a favor in with someone.
Lord, how did we lose to Arkansas? We were out scoring opponents by an avg of 54-7 and 5-0.
8th best in the country at pressuring the QB and Arkansas was 103rd in sacks allowed.
Cost us a home playoff game and maybe a whole different path.
Love Heupe, but these are the games he can NOT lose.
With Judkins legal problems the door is open for Sampson to at least split caries with Ford, but he’s got to get his shoulders down. He got rocked this past week.
