My sons are home from school on the other end of the state, and I would like to take them and their mother to a game this year. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone got 5 to part with?

Has anyone bought tickets from the vivid seats website? Is it a good way to get tickets? Going to try to attend a few more with my boys now that they are older.

Been to both in the press box, on the field, and in the stands. Neyland louder at field level, LSU louder in press box and fan seating areas. When both are rocking it is hard to think about anything other than how loud it really is!

Back in the late 90's you could hit a ball a mile. I remember watching the LSU series in 96, I think at LNS. Batting practice simply consisted of seeing who could get the ball the deepest on the railroad tracks. I believe there was a sign back there that said park at your own [expletive] risk...

I guess I am dating myself when I can tell you guys that I used a Easton Black Magic, watched Todd Helton swing the white Easton, then I remember the first carbon composite bats, C-Core I think that was what they were called by Easton. Of course, back then you could get a 33 inch bat 2 3/4...

As an old backstop, aka catcher this would make it tough if trying to leg out a double and get thrown out for the 3rd out and trying to hustle back and get all the gear on and ready to go back behind the dish, but I would love to be able to do it again!
