Very touching tribute. We all knew this day was coming. Two very classy people. The best.

That last minute or so when we spread the floor and played keep away was epic. We have the ball, pass it, they try to steal, we steal it right back two or three times dribble the clock out was an awesome job of coaching. We already had our lead and the game, no need to pad it anymore.

When was the last time we went to the elite Eight two years in a row? And to see the team who knocked us out last year (Purdue) get beat this time around was icing on the cake 🍰! Darn, no rematch with them too.

How tightly are the officials going to call fouls? Will they call ticky tack fouls that will immediately change the complexion of the game, or let them play?

Does anyone know what time UT/KY and what channel they play on Friday?

I'm hoping by us playing a day earlier and a chance to watch UK/ Illinois play will give us an advantage. Having played them twice, we know them well.

Just hope Tennessee is scouting the Illinois/Kentucky game. Giving that and the extra days rest should help us.

Kentucky usually plays their best basketball at tournament time. If they prevail over Illinois, they, Tennessee is going to have to play their best defense yet to avoid getting beat again.

Would Tennessee be able to watch (scout) the KY/Illinois today, even on TV? I would think THAT would give them an advantage over either one.Plus, we will have almost an extra days rest before next Friday's game.

I have no doubt that we can take them no matter where it is played. I do find it strange that IT IS US that has to travel to the opponents back yard instead of a neutral site. Remember Tennessee Football 🏈 traveling to Ohio State earlier this year.

With 14 teams from the SEC getting into the dance, the first round will separate the men from the boys. Out, day one, Texas, a play in game. Out, day two, Georgia. In, Auburn Tennessee. It will be interesting to see how many make it past the first round and on to the sweet 16 and beyond.
