Adversity. No one who ever played this game hasn’t met up with it at some point. JG has played through it, and come to grips with it. Really, all any coach can ask is if the kid is ready when called upon to execute. I’m proud of the kid. He’s doing alright.

Pruitt did what he did to JG, not because of a bad play; he did it because JG wasn’t looking at him when he was chewing him out. It is time for you, and others to think that maybe if JG had been paying attention to Pruitt and the staff more often this season, maybe his performance history...

I’m more worried about ESPN. No Dodgers, no Red Sox, and their beloved Yankees got taken out tonight. If I cared I’d have the entire network on a watch. They’’re too depressed to moan about this.
