I'm citing his entire head coaching career, including TX, minus the years with Teddy Bridgwater. I think having Teddy as a QB in the pitiful Big East football conference made Strong look a lot better than he really was.

he's a redshirt sophmore so we could potentially have him for two more years but if he's projected in the first round.........not so much.

Nobody was talking about seeding. they were talking about getting in. SMU didn't win the conference anyway so their seeding wouldn't change much.

Tell that to the Big 10. Oregon and Penn State will only play 3 ranked teams all year. Go 1-2 in your "tough" games and your probably hosting a playoff game.

How is the format any different? SMU was an ACC runner up with 2 losses and made the playoff as an at large team, something YOU said couldn't happen.
