I don't believe he would "jump back to East TN." After all the years in Dallas, he has new "Roots." His family grew up in TX. I believe he is firmly rooted in the Southwest.
I believe he would be a great addition to the Vols (or any other team). I just don't see it happening.
because we are a middle of the pack SEC Team.
It won't get any better because TN (the State) is also a middle of the pack in Gazillionaires who can boost the NIL pool. We fall way behind TX, OK and LA. Somewhat behind GA and AL (and maybe MO). The rich will continue to get richer.
I spew coffee...
I don't believe it would have been the Vols. I believe it would have been either Texas or Notre Dame, if they took another 2-loss team. The eye test tells me that both ND and Texas are better teams. I would have liked to have seen the Vols in the CFP but I was happy with their season...they beat...
Why should he? He is exercising his Constitutional Right to due process. I don't like him but he is doing what any of us would do if we had competent legal representation.
I believe it was a coin toss to call the defense. With Pavia, run is always on the table. Down and Distance doesn't matter. I would have called Geno and had the boys kneecap Pavia.
You must have watched a different game. We got boat-raced by a much better team, not a less talented team. I don't believe we got outcoached. JH tried everything but we just didn't have the talent to match Vandy on either side of the ball.
I was a Vol fan before you were born. However, Vandy still has a chance at a CFP berth, no matter how slim. I hope they get in to represent the State. Plus, Pavia has an outside chance to win the Heisman. The State hasn't had a Heisman contender in almost 30 years.
