She did sign on as a scholarship player, although she didn’t get a full ride. She was promised playing time and certainly had plans to play, and I also think she went because Marc Weekly coached at her school. She wouldn’t have gone if she wasn’t expected to play.

Especially when it comes to recruiting, if you’re not from California you’re pretty much expendable unless you can produce top numbers.

And that’s the sad reality that the program has come to. Rather than fixing their coaching and treatment of players they just brush it off and sweep it under the rug and move on to the next player. Horrible treatment of the players in my opinion.
