For a fan of ANY football team to have to watch their team lose because of something a kicker had to do with is sickening, so I can appreciate that sentiment.

I can appreciate your opinion, but it looked to me like Cody simply destroyed whoever was trying to block him, made it past the line of scrimmage, and blocked both kicks. If he's blocked like he SHOULD have been, then neither kick gets blocked.

I will agree that that is ridiculous.

Also, with regards to our DL "jumping offsides," on the replay it looked to me like he got lucky and timed the snap. I don't think he crossed the line of scrimmage until after the ball moved. BUT, I will say that typically in those situations, you'd expect them to throw the flag just because...

It looked to me like he might have been trying to dive at Javy's feet and not necessarily at the blocker, but instead made contact with the blocker. Hence, the penalty.
