That's pretty much the point. The Vols upset a highly ranked opponent and gained a quality win. Yet, sportscasters/analysts like Mark May only want to talk about how Clowney doubled his TFL output for the season during the first half. They love to mention how many games it has been since the...
And I count myself among such fans. Just don't display it in the stadium. I'm not for doing away with awards for divisional titles (shared or no) or for most improved (jk), but the place to display such awards is not in the stadium unless that is all you have to boast.
I also have no problem with it, so long as it is not the Vols. We shouldn't commemorate moral victories and hang said commemorations in Neyland with banners of real victories. What's next? SEC East's Most Improved Team banners?
They hang up banners in the stadium for all of the SEC and National Championships the team has won. This debate is about whether we should hang banners that display the years in which the Vols won divisional titles (i.e. when we won the SEC East, as opposed to the entire SEC Championship) or...
It is disturbing to me that so many fans mistake being realistic for being negative. This term "Negavol" is one of the stupidest words I have ever read and it gets used in almost every thread. In nearly every game, there is a favorite and an underdog; a champion and a challenger. It seems...
Some of you are reading way too much into this analogy. It seems pretty clear to me that Bullard is expressing that he is having fun out there, as opposed to lazing around on the swing set.
Nonsensical? Doom? Surely you can't be serious. While you clearly spent many hours and much effort to research and debunk the very first post of a life-long fellow fan, your own evidence demonstrates that you can't cite one (1) game in the last twenty (20) plus years when the Vols won in...
Nothing good happens when the Vols wear orange pants (except that time with the black jersey), although I do like the all orange look. Otherwise, I like the new unis. So, basically, I think they should scrap the white jersey orange pants combo.
