We are parked and tailgating 10 minutes from Sanford and the parking lot is essentially empty… it’s weird. 🤷‍♀️

We drove down from Spring Hill today! My dad drove to us from Memphis. He’s never been to a game in Athens and my husband is a Georgia fan. We stopped at Bucees in Calhoun and it was painted orange! Everyone pumping gas on both sides was high fiving and talking about the weekend.

Husband and I started “Hate Week” in our house on Sunday 😂 he’s feeling extra cocky this year! We are taking my dad who has seen our guys play all over the country, but never been to Athens!

I am SO... VERY... GLAD... that I opened this thread. And I may have copied and printed every recipe posted... Our menu is a little less exciting: Spicy jalapeno corn dip, grilled ham and swiss dijon sliders, Brooklyn Brown for husband and mocktails for me (sigh).

My husband and I are in Atlanta, but his whole family lives in Madison/Newborn. We spent New Year's there, but I made sure we made it home in time for the game. So jealous of your trip! Glad you were able to go and hope you made it home safely! Go Vols!
