No difference at all. Hart was covering his a$$ just like he has done in the past. I don't know but when someone says, " You will not be our coach next season, but we will give you an office and a title" it sounds pretty clear. The second meeting was a cover IMO.

Pat Summitt stated that Dave Hart said, "You will not be the coach of the Lady Vols next year." He did this the day before the beginning of the NCAA Tourny. Who does that to a coach? If you intend for them to go out then wait until after the tourny. I think he is totally classless.

But the second meeting didn't take place until after the NCAA tourny and he also lied to the press about what he had told Coach Summitt about retiring the Lady Vols logo. I don't believe him at all.
