You'd have to mess harder than that. I used to spend quite a bit of time on quest years ago. Got bored with message forum junk. The threads and topics never change, win or lose. Some are never happy, some can't see the storm.
At the end of the day, you're as good as your record.
When you visit them once or twice a year, you're pretty much done. But I do enjoy occasionally watching hilljacks in their natural habitat. Listening to pop-country, going ape over college futbaw.
Surely you understand;)
Call me nostalgic, sport. Occasionally I just need to watch plumbers, accountants and teachers play coach. Won't happen again soon, though. Not enough rage to keep it
Interesting.
Well, you certainly sold me. After all, every situation and the variables involved are exactly alike.
Sometimes it's best to simply be the best plumber you can be. The move to AD is probably pretty tough.
Oh....a metric I forgot to add on this:
The former high school coach/forum insider? This one is virtually bullet-proof on the subject of program decisions. And he'll always have a cadre of dullards who follow his words on a forum like they were handed down from Moses.
If he's decided to...
It's really not a complicated issue.
The average sports red always has a coach lurking somewhere within. It comes after years of playing Monday Morning Quarterback (man, I knew was right about that call!). Couple this with the extreme nature of an SEC dong (see: Pinson, Ala or Harvey Updyke)...
I stopped in for more information on this hire, and I see a few of the reds are well-lathered over this one. Debord has been a few places and seems to be well-esteemed in the coaching game....what gives?
