It's not like we don't have question marks too. Struggled to stop the run last year. Struggled to force turnovers. Transition to a 3-4.
Running game? No comment. Teams will be trying to force Bray into mistakes. He will have to prove he has matured.
That being said, once the season starts...
USCe and UGA are definitely better than us. That being said, I don't think there is a team on our schedule, including Bama, that is a guarenteed loss. But I only see 5, maybe 6, guarenteed wins.
Come on now... Where did I say that things in the first 3-4 years not matter? Of course they matter. If Dooley can't win 8 games this year, fire him. I think coaches deserve leniency. I think looking at the situation Dooley took over, it's not fair to judge him after the first two seasons. I...
What? No... Far more stable programs with far more stable coaching situations. When the vast majority fo starters for a third year coach are his own players, it's pretty obvious that he doesn't suck at recruiting.
Stated numerous times in this thread that he is the best recruiter in CFB. No need to discuss that.
Pointing to his one year as evidence as his coaching ability is silly. Dooley's year in 2010 was just as good as his, if not better.
And in his one year, he has banked off of Carrol's...
Wasn't the better coach that day. And Dooley beat more teams last year as the underdog than Franklin did. And loss lesss games as the favorite than Franklin did.
Check them stats, yo.
I disagree. Playing with a still injured qb and going against a defense that was just as good, if not better, than our's. There was a reason we were the underdog.
haha... so we play three teams that are better than us, and 3 teams that are just as good as us.
I expect us to win 9 games, but to act like 8 wins is a disappointment is silly. We haven't had 8 wins since 2007. People will notice that.
I'd say Vandy week, Vandy was the "better" team. But pretty even.
But he's lost once as the favorite and won once as the underdog. Not great and not terrible. Obviously, that needs to change this year.
But why would you expect us to beat these teams that we've been underdogs against the...
Besides UK, what other games did you expect him to win and why? Besides aforementioned team, how many teams have we been more talented than and lost too?
I just don't see your point about being able to improve a roster and coach in the SEC. Neither one of us has any idea if he can coach in...
A. So you have expected him to win the past two years? Why?
B. If he wins 8+ games this year, will that not show that he has recruited well enough to improve the program?
C. Do you not think that success on the field, assuming he actually wins this year, will produce more successful classes?
