I’m excited he’ll be on campus a year early. Idk how much he’ll play if at all, he may reshirt, but I think he’ll definitely be completing for probably the 8th spot in the rotation. He definitely adds some depth we didn’t have before and I’m happy about that.

Selfishly, I’d love for him to stay, but I don’t see this as anything more than building a little bit of suspense for him to actually announce he’s going pro, as he should.

He weighed in at some USA basketball thing late last year at like 270, but he looked much smaller than that last week at the MDAAG. I also expect the Duke staff to slim him up a bit once he gets on campus. I don’t think they’ll let him play at 270.

People who think Zion is going to be a bust have never seen him do more than dunk. Zion potentially being a bust is the least of my worries. Him being a small ball 4 or 5 is exactly what he’s meant to do and that’s exactly what he’ll play.
