Feels like he had 9 blocked dunks just against UK.
I’m exaggerating but I’ve never seen a player misjudge an opportunity to dunk a ball more than Aidoo.
One possession he’ll pass up a dunk for a missed 2 foot wide open hook, then try and dunk from 6 feet out on 2 people the following possession.
If all Okpara has to worry about is dunking, rebounding and blocking shots then I love the pick up. If we ever have to look to him for offensive production like we did with Aidoo then we’re in trouble - fortunately I don’t see that happening if Igor and Lanier jump in the boat.
I mean, if you added in Aidoo’s missed dunks due to being blocked at the rim I think that number would be significantly higher.
Seems like he attempted a poster once a game and I can’t think of the top of my head if he actually pulled any off. Those were wasted possessions.
Anderson solves the potential issue of a logjam at wing, imo. I think he’d be more receptive to playing the long game. Tyson obviously provides a more immediate impact though.
I still prefer Awaka but if we have Zakai, Lanier, Tyson/ Dubar and Igor then I guess having the center with a higher offensive ceiling won’t matter. Sounds like Felix is a more athletic Kyle Alexander and that’s all we’d really need with that much offensive power.
