Staley moved up to #78 OVR and the #17 WR in the new 247 rankings update today. Now gives us four top 100 players on 247.

Totally fair. I do think this staff will utilize the tight ends more if they can get the caliber of athlete they want. Just look at what they did with Princeton Fant last year. Staes even mentioned in his interview after his visit that our coaches showed him film of Fant.

If we lose Staes to Georgia that will be a major indictment on our tight end recruiting imo. Georgia has three 4 stars at the position returning and also have Redell committed who is one of the best tight ends this cycle. Not saying we will, but that would be very alarming given the other...

That sounded really positive for us, especially the part at the end about distance from home and "loving the south." Hopefully we can close the deal on this one. Staes and Davis would be a major upgrade in athleticism next year at the position.
