Milton isn't and never was the answer. He provided an arm this year and allowed for Nico to get into our program and develop and get some weight on before next fall. The play calling shows this staff doesn't trust Milton to make intermediate down field throw. They will let him throw the 50-70...

i think it is a little of both. You can't get inside the 5 yard line 1st and goal and come away with 3 points twice. That isn't going to cut it against any SEC team. If we do that against UK we will lose that game as well.

Yes i believe Milton needs to have a good game, but don't think he has to have a great one for us to win. No turnovers #1, being able to avg 4 yards a carry will open up some play action for him. i think if he throws for 175-200 yards and we can have 225-250 yards in the run game we win this one...

limit turnovers, and pound the rock inside to olivia and Uros. Stifle them with a ton of defense and hold them to under 60 and we win going away. Duke has a much better offense and more talent across the board and we beat them easily. This game should be no different if the above things are...

i didn't look up the exact stats arse. The point is they shot 17 more FTs, so to be surprised that we lost is dumb. The refs weren't great, Uros was behaving as he always has, etc... The reason we lost is they had many more opportunities for free baskets. Explain again how them shooting 17 more...

this game came down to FTs plain and simple. They got way more foul shots thus the win. They shot almost 30 FTs to our 8 or 9 FTs. TN made several mistakes and still could have won, but not shocked they lost with that big of a discrepancy at the line.

I think instate talent matters if your state is laden with that many 4 and 5 stars. But yes to your point, having a fence around most states really doens't matter, especially with the portal etc.

a 1 loss TCU is out. They have a terrible SOS and SOR and that seems to be the biggest metric the committee is using for ranking teams. We need TCU to lose to get in a think. I don't see any other 1 loss team jumping us based on SOS and SOR.
