Good win tonight, fellas!
I’m done with volnation for awhile. Can’t even have a discussion without posts getting clipped. Doesn’t happen anywhere but VolNation. Lame.
If we ever got into it in here it was never anything personal, at least on my end. I like the back and forth, I guess others...
Guy won’t quit. We all love JJ, but the 49ers aren’t going to gift him a 1 year 6 mil contract just because a bunch of vol fans like him. I’m not being a prick, I’m being as direct as possible. The NFL is a business. No franchise is going to pay a player more than they have to. If the 9ers know...
I’m discounting all of it. You’re speaking emotionally, I’m speaking logically. Again, the NFL is a business. No franchise is going to overpay other players simply because they don’t have an expensive QB1. They’ll sign their players as cheap as they can.
I don’t give a sh!t how long you’ve...
They won’t give that much to a guy who only caught 19 passes during the regular season. Look, I want him to make a lot of money too, but none of what you said is going to happen.
If JJ signs a tender he can negotiate an extension for ‘25 and beyond during the ‘24 season.
They won’t give him a 2nd round tender, that never happens. NFL is a business.
DK’s defense has improved a ton, I don’t think we can afford for him not to be on the floor to start the game. I do agree that Santi could be a really strong 6th man. Don’t really need to adjust his total minutes, just bring him in off the bench around the 16 minute mark.
Anyone watching Butler vs. Marquette? This is Butler in a nutshell. Very strong at transition defense, rarely commit silly fouls, good rebounding team… but they’re prone to going on extended cold streaks on offense. Telfort has been a liability during the 2nd half of this game with the turnovers...
He’s a restricted free agent, so he’ll most likely play next season for the 49ers on a 1 year tender. Probably in the 2-2.25 million range.
He wasn’t active for any games his rookie year and spent the season on the practice squad. So by NFL standards he only has 3 “service years.”
This fall...
