Well, I said it. It has also been said by philosophers and scientists for quite a while now. Whether anyone wants to listen is up to them.

Just because I say that someone is wrong doesn't make me a bigot. I am not being hateful or intolerant. You guys can believe what you want. That is cool. But I have every right to express my opinion that you are wrong in your beliefs. Come on, people.

All I have done is cleanly and objectively express my opinion, and I have been called a bigot and a moron. I don't understand quite how everyone operates here.

So is your reasoning. Theists fail to realize that people died for 10,000 other beliefs before theirs even came along. Those beliefs are now considered mythology. Who would be naive enough to think that their belief is any better, or any more enduring?

Theists select one religion and reject the rest. What they fail to understand is that there is no difference in the religion that they accept and the ones that they dismiss. Atheists take it one religion further, that is all. There is no reason on, above, or below Earth to promote Christianity...

That is nonsense. Private organizations do not have the resources (or the ambition) to make up for what the government is providing for those in poverty. Beside that, the same people who don't want their tax money going to "lazy" people would have the same aversion to their tithe money providing...

The needy are scattered all over the U.S. (and the world, for that matter). There are millions of people that are bound by their circumstances. Among these are children, the elderly, and the disabled. Children are mostly forgotten in the "pull yourself up" Republican agenda. They can eat at...

Religious people should learn to accept that their "live" religion is as sound as all of the dead ones. Mythology is the same today as it was 5,000 years ago. Let us rise from the Stone Age, where possible.

Obama has done nothing except compromise with the Republicans since they took the House. I don't know how much closer to the Center anyone could get.

We are all murderers as long as the death penalty is still legal. None of us should esteem another human being to be a monster while we remain imperfect.
