Yea sounds like Boo hasn’t been all in this summer and team leaders don’t want to deal with it anymore, especially during the season (did it last year with another high profile guy). Seems like a nothing burger to me if this is all it is. Can be smoothed over easily IMO.

I think Bates is a sneaky good player. Not much power but looking at the numbers, they are almost identical to Marin’s from last year. I know different competition and all that but he’s coming here to compete for a job and not just be a role player. Especially if he can play at a high level...
