I would love to have some information about KJH's new staff if it is available. It sounds like Reeves has already gone. We badly need recruiting skills on the staff and she has done a whale of a job for us. We need to get her back. Gordon would be good to get back also.
It would appear from the newspaper story that Phil never considered Ivey. If so, that was in incredible blunder on his part. She will be one of the great coaches in the women's game when she does get a team. I'm just hoping Kellie is up to the challenge and everyone can get behind her.
I have an awful feeling that Kellie wasn't the first choice. I had hoped for great results with a high potential coach. Hopefully, if offers were actually made, they were not rejected because no one would touch this position. And hopefully, this will not be a repeat of the Derek Dooley...
Gee I wonder how coach Dawn Staley can work her into her lineup with all those 5 stars coming in next year. Maybe she can get Westbrook to stop all those turnovers, especially those at critical points in a game.
Reading some of these blogs is pure madness. So we only look at coaches with head coaching experience. News flash. Those who are capable of winning a national title are in positions that they are not going to leave. Most of the rest with head coaching experience that have come up to be...
Jeff Walz is the women's version of Bruce Pearl. We hopefully learned our lesson with shady characters. Neile Ivery is clean cut and a future super star. She is the clear choice.
Completely agree on Ivey for the job. She is the hottest prospect for a head coaching job in women's college basketball right now. Would bring a much stronger character to the job than Walz.
Do your homework! Neile Ivy the asst. coach at ND is clearly the next Lady Vol coach we should go after. Terrific recruiter, detailed oriented, mentored under a great coach. She's ready for the big time and is the obvious choice for the job.
