I am not a fan of the opt-out; you played all year, UT provided a scholarship, and NOW you think you might get hurt. That's false logic. Hate on me if you want; I don't think it is good for the program. Fortunately, it did not affect UT; I think the defense played better because of it.

This will always be a topic of discussion, heck 3 out of 4 picked Iowa, SOOOOO, they don't know jack! All the players deserve to play in this situation, that was the #1 defense in the NCAA.............hmmm

I like being wrong in these cases, I had no clue what this team would do today, and to hang the big donut on Iowa (B10), was very satisfying.

Iowa has been my 2nd favorite team for years. I love UT, but I like Iowa only because they have upset teams I do not like. The narrative that UT has not seen "hard-hitting teams" in the SEC is ludicrous. Will the transfers hurt UT? I don't see why it wouldn't; talent will only get you so far...

I believe CJH is keeping his cards close to his chest with Nico and not giving opponents any film to study for next year. Fans are not even sure what Nico will deliver, but I think his accuracy and feet will provide UT what Hooker delivered...jmo.

Agree, and the player left, rarely do they change their minds, that NIL money is hard to turn down if your chances to go to the NFL are slim.
