To me it shows he has some class. If I had a son who was being recruited by TN it would say that to him it's not all about the $$ and the prestige of being a HC. He made a commitment to those players and he's following through with it. Class act if you ask me!
Only saying that to save face in case he's not asked. I personally would like to give him another chance. I think he would be our best chance to have a decent team in the next couple of years. I'm 66 years old and have been a vol fan my entire life. I moved to Pensacola 15 years ago and I've...
Did you even watch the game. NC ran the ball. They had no timeouts so they had to spike the ball to stop the clock. The clock is running. The ref ran over and spotted the ball. NC kicking team was running onto the field. Most of them realized they had screwed up so they started running back off...
New rule for next year. (1) The defensive player must approach the offensive player and pull one of the two flags from the belt of the offensive players belt. No jumping, launching or aggressive behavior will be tolerated. (1a) The defensive player must smile at the offensive player before...
The clock didn't need to be wound! The clock was running. They had no timeouts and they had no way of stopping the clock except for spiking the ball. NC blew it when their kicking team came running on the field. Had they kept the same personnel in the game they could have spiked it with 4 or 5...
If you go to the NCAA Rule book and do a search for the word "launching" you get 0 returns for the search. I agree that launching and leading with the helmet are totally different. My question is "How can you make a tackle without launching?" It's not very smart for a defensive guy to stand flat...
The ball should not have been allowed to be snapped. The official should have stood over of the ball until both sides was set. How can you be set with 4 men running on the field and 4 men running off of the field. Big 10 Refs just have it in for SEC. Every passing play there were 2 or 3 NC...
Rod Wilkes is holding out for an NFL expansion so he can have his on team. No sense in paying all those other coaches and players! BTW Rod calls his on plays!:hi:
It would have also given us time to figure out there were 13 men on the field. LSU was already on the line and sent in more subs. Half of their line was still moving around when the ball was snapped!
Extremely young team~No depth~3 head coaches in 3 years. Coaching staff put together in a hurry~Playing a top 10 undefeated team on the road and took them to the wire. If we had lost by 15 points would you feel better? I agree with the question: WTF do you guys want?
On the 12 men called play! It looked to me like the right side of their line was not set! The qb was watching them and that's why he didn't see the ball as it went by. Play it back and take a look. Rule says they have to be set for 1 second.
