Just because we're 9-1 on this Stamos/Causey combo doesn't really mean Stamos is holding up his end of the equation, especially in the postseason against the better teams.
How many times has an offensive explosion in the O&W game been an indicator of season/SEC success? So many TDs we scored in seasons we missed or barely made a bowl game. If anything, I'm much happier to see a pedestrian/balanced game where the defense kept the offense at bay sometimes.
I don't care what anyone says, I'd rather at least WATCH Sweet 16 basketball with my coach who supposedly can't win the big ones and be a Top 16-64 team in the sport EVERY year, than to roll the dice with a coach who would just as likely have us jealous of Buzz ball and peaking as an NIT team...
Has there ever been a college who has been ranked #1 in baseball, football, and basketball in the same season? (Basing it off of the year the season began in all 3 sports)
We're a Purdue loss and consistent winning away from that being a possibility.
