The DBs probably had to change direction which slowed them down and before they reached their top acceleration, it was too late. It was good blocking up front for USCs line that sprung him. Linebackers weren't where they were needed to be either.
Last year Kamal always got beat, and always ran his mouth (South Carolina), and always was the one getting called for silly penalties in the backfield.
I guess it could have been because of all the blitzes Banks was calling to get to the QB and leaving him and the other DBs out there.
Aside...
We have no center play. Dude got owned by Florida. Anytime we tried to run up the middle, the D Lineman on him threw him around like a ragdoll. He is why we are throwing sideline to sideline. They don't expect protection to hold up.
Hopefully Cade Mays is finally ready to play today...
Not chip but blocked. He totally missed him. It was the nose guard who made that sack. By the time he got to Small, he had a whole head of steam.
Small wasn't stopping him.
Id love to see a package with 2 backs on at the same time. Can run triple option, tosses, hb lead block, qb draws, rpos, line up in slot. Could cause a ton of havoc.
But I'll trust the Heup.
My dad's birthday. He smoked 1 and a half packs of Winston cigarettes during that game. He looked at the ash tray after the game was over and I remember him saying he was ashamed of himselfnfor.smoking so much.
He laid them down and never picked one up again.
