There may be some validity to the Nike vs Adidas ball but there is not much...maybe 5 yards. St. Thomas Aquinas used composite balls that do travel further. Most high schools do not use composite balls. Palardy was a using a one inch tee in high school so Tee size is not a valid excuse. What...
Corey does have a preferred walk on spot at Tennessee and is certainly considering his options. He also has a preferred spot at Georgia. He does have two full offers now from Southern Miss and Memphis. We will certainly let things play out with Memphis and will take an official to Southern...
We were surprised but thats okay. Christian Kaufman, Andrew Fletcher, and Nick Pollard are all good friends of Corey's and are well deserving. They are all great kids and great kickers. Corey is disappointed and as a competitor he should be. Whether he is deserving or not that is up to...
GoVols2003, a few things you are incorrect on. Acosta was 2 for 3 kickoffs in the MUS game one was fro 68 yards the other was 63 yards. The one he didn't kick in the endzone was a squib kick after CBHS scored and there was three seconds left to go. You are right Corey is not 5'11. He is 6'1...
They are not in need but they are not sure if they can take a pass either. They talked about a resdshirting and that way Blair Walsh would be a senior when Corey would be a redshirt freshman.

60 yards is a long way for any kicker. A couple of things you need to take a look at. He took no extra steps for this FG and if you look carefully there is great height on his ball at the point of contact. This ball would have clearly made it over the line. This certainly just my opinion.
