With regards to the original post, I believe you are talking about BC Atletas beating Purdue and Georgia, not VCU. VCU beat Atletas 85-47 and went 4-0 in Italy. Atletas beat Georgia 94-90 and Purdue 82-79.

VCU just beat Atletas Kaunas 85-47 today. They play Purdue tomorrow and Arkansas on Tuesday for those of you who are interested in following them.

Thought this might be interesting for some of you Vol fans. John Fields actually played against VCU twice (91-57 and 73-60 wins) last year as a player for UNCW. We are pretty familiar with him. It'll be cool to see him in a Vols uniform.

Whoever said anything about VCU not being the best team in Richmond. I assume you're trying to imply University of Richmond is better. VCU has beat Richmond 6 years running and has far and away been the better program over that time period. I do agree Richmond was a better team last year...
