I thought the stadium was a non factor as stated Arkansas was definitely louder than here. We just truly got beat by athleticism on the outside and got manhandled in the trenches.
I really enjoyed the experience except for the game itself, I did not have any problems with Ohio state fans all the ones I talked to thought it was awesome how many fans we had there. Loudness not close at all play a lot of music to help with the noise.
I played with a lot of guys that loved their teammates, coaches, and the university but transferred to have an opportunity to play, myself nor my teammates held a grudge against them its just part of doing business and college athletics is a business.
Coaches are also probably having end of the year meetings with these guys as well talking about their futures and where they see them fitting in next year and in a lot of ways it is probably mutual on coaches side and players side.
I think the patience thing is so misleading these kids are getting recruited over year after year and they only have a few years left to play the game they love can’t blame them for transferring to get playing time.
I was at the 04 game against Florida and at the 15 game against Oklahoma. 04 game was loud when wilhoit made the game winner but that 15 game against Oklahoma was loud all game long.
I have a friend that is in the athletic director world and he said Texas is going at him hard and wouldn’t be completely surprised if it did happen. Said Vitello and Danny White aren’t the best of friends.
I was lucky enough to know the right people back when Al Wilson got inducted really cool experience hanging out with some UT legends the night before and before the induction but I wouldn’t spend money for the ceremony itself.
