I don’t hate Wes or anything, but it’s insane how he uses 400 words to make every single point. It’s like trying to reach the word count on a high school essay with everything he does.
I'm not going to pretend to be an expert, but I think it's helpful to think in terms of "tiers" and not "rankings" and to use the average star rating for the whole class.
For example:
Tier 1 - AVG of 92 and up
Tier 2 - AVG of 90.1-91.9
Tier 3 - AVG of 88.9-90

Well, Spurrier is legit. I just scanned the Wikipedia article for USC and it looks like it took him 5 years of average results before posting 3 excellent seasons. It would be interesting to see how UGA, UF, and Clemson were during that span.
Well, you have to beat them before you can beat them consistently. I don’t think the ‘plan’ is that complicated, but it’s obviously very hard to do.

He’s struggled in the classroom since he was a freshman. Such a great kid though. I really hope he gets the chance to play in college and earn a degree.
As much as we fans have seen improvement, we still lost to GA state and BYU this year and scratched and clawed our way to bowl eligibility after face-planting at the end of last year. There is unfortunately no short-cut. We aren’t even fielding a complete team yet...
As frustrating as it is for fans, this hire is more important than a potential bump for this NSD. Although I think the effects of the OC on this cycle are being exaggerated by fans.
Missing a recruit or two stings now, missing this hire costs him his job in 2 years.
