According to Basilio: Briles died because they wouldn't let him bring his OL coach because of Friend, They offered Chaney the job on Sunday and he turned them down, Yurich is looking like a no go. This is officially a dumpster fire of a OC search.

Chris Wienke will probably go somewhere else, either with Helton or with Locksley. They will move Friend to running backs coach to get Chaney here.

Jim Chaney is a possibility. His contract is up this year, loves Knoxville and is paid under $1 million currently. I think this would be a good direction to go. He was really good when he was here with Dooley there was just no defense.
