way to overreact. The weather is fine right now. It wasn't bad to begin with. There was a storm in BR last friday that was worse than anything I saw with Rita, as far as rain is concerned. The wind was pretty cool to watch, and the most damage I saw as I drove through BR this morning was 2...

Its been sunny in Baton Rouge for the past 4 hours at least. It got pretty rainy in the morning, but there hasn't been a drop since noon.

The hurricane should be gone by monday. It's weakening already. If the hurricane does any lasting damage to the area, which I doubt it will, then I am sure the game will be cancelled. But any damage to the area is doubtful especially with it weakening and Baton Rouge being at the very edge...

i thought they were at 84th? So all those losing seasons weren't considered championships? As long as they paid for them, they should claim as many championships as they want.

I can vouch for UT(the poster) as well, there were hotels availabe before Rita showed up. Evacuees cannot stay in hotels forever, quite a few moved out. Its just sad that it is going to be this way. I am sure if the LSU administration was clairvoyant, things would be different, but hopefully...

sorry about that other guy, LSUfreak, he just wanted to stir up some trouble. Anyway, you guys aren't the only ones who are unhappy about this game. Quite a few LSU fans are not happy. School is scheduled for monday as well as the game, and it is going ot be a nightmare to get there...
