My top six players would be Bernard King, Tony White, Dale Ellis, Allan Houston, Chris Loften, Dyron Nix. I also loved Fred Jenkins back in the early 80's.

I was there. To this day, Chris Jackson is the greatest college basketball player I've ever seen. He had a crossover move that was deadly and it seemed he could score 50 points any night he wanted. How that LSU team failed to win a NCAA championship is beyond me.

Don't forget Danny Spradlin of Maryville who played for UT and in the NFL (Dallas Cowboys). Also, there was Todd Upton and Willie Lundy both All-Americans from Alcoa. Upton (class of '81) played for UT on scholarship, but tore up his knee during a game in his sophmore (or junior?) year...
